✓✓✓ Alys: I don't view this as 100% healthy romance—codependence? obsession? matching each other's freak? genuine affection? you're the only person who is giving me the time of day so let me just latch myself to your side? Aemond humouring her visions and believing some of them? I love the "My Alys" shit in the book because it seems like Aemond finally met someone who sees him for who he is and doesn't try and change him, and he's not here to change her. I prefer Alys from the show as she has more spunk and personality. I'm not really interested in the whole "He took her as a war prize" thing as that's too assaulty for me (happy for it to be the PR from the Blacks—I'm very big on consent, and I don't feel like Aemond is someone who would opt to be… nonconsensual… unless it involves murder). The promise of power play and it being something that's a mess (she's got the upperhand, now he has the upperhand) is kind of delicious, especially because they both come from two different worlds. I'm just not here for sweet, sweet romance when these two feel like they're super complex separately and would be so deliciously complex together.

✓✓ Alicent: Yeah, motherfucker! PERCEIVE ME. This is my guilty pleasure ship, although I do love it in gen situations, too! I view Aemond as the parentified child Alicent leans on for emotional support, who she depends on and knows will always have her back. Alicent is probably his ride or die out of everyone—the scene of them on Driftmark with her losing her shit over him losing his eye lives rent-free in my head. I think Aemond holds his mother in high esteem as the One Person Who Loves Me Completely because she's the one who lost her cool in his defence. I feel like this relationship has a lot of potential in both sexual and gen scenarios. I don't tag into Alicents expecting they're cool with incest! I really love this relationship when it's gen. I take this approach re: Aemond is the parentified kid with Alicents in both gen and not-so-gen contexts.

✓✓ Helaena: I feel like Aemond would at least entertain her weird prophecy shit and maybe even take some of it to be real! I kind of view Helaena as Aemond's favourite sibling because I feel like she's the one who would listen/sees him. This may be his healthiest relationship??? My thoughts on it are: healthy-ish, respect, and "it should've been me". I'm happy to develop their relationship and history however my thread partner wants. I'm unsure if I'm keen to have him be the father of any of her kids—that'll depend on what we want out of it!

smut: I like writing smut out, but can ftb if that's preferred. There are a few kinks I'm not interested in (A/B/O, noncon types, bathroom stuff, anything to do with his eye, infantilism (no Homelander shit, sorry)). I like my smut to build character and grow the relationship. I prefer the psychological angle of soulmates/soulbonds and being meant for someone while being betrothed to someone else).

I want to do a Gods Eye timeloop. (Hades/Persephone would be fun with this.)
